- Fresh Bluefin Tuna – Matsutake Mushrooms, finely chopped
- Olive oil – Red onion, finely diced
- Salt and pepper – Fresh cilantro, chopped
- Lime juice – Jalapeno pepper, finely diced
- Garlic, minced – Lime juice
- Cumin powder – Olive oil
- Paprika – Salt and pepper
For the Tuna:
Season the Bluefin Tuna with salt, pepper, minced garlic, cumin powder, and paprika.
In a hot skillet, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat.
Sear the tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side, depending on the desired level of doneness.
Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
For the Matsutake Salsa:
In a bowl, combine the finely chopped Matsutake Mushrooms, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Gently toss the ingredients together until well combined.
Arrange the sliced Bluefin Tuna on a serving platter.
Spoon the Matsutake Salsa over the tuna, ensuring an even distribution.
Garnish with additional cilantro leaves, if desired.
